We specialize in medication management and patient care. We do not specialize in forensic psychiatry or legal documentation. If this is something you need, we recommend you see a forensic psychiatrist who is well-versed in formal legal evaluations to get your needs adequately met.
With regard to disability and work/school accommodations, we cannot confirm in advance that our medical provider will be able to provide disability or accommodation documentation. The medical provider will first perform a full evaluation. At the end of the evaluation, your medical professional will determine if you are deemed appropriate for a work/school leave, disability or any other accommodations, for a set period of time. If so, our team will complete required letters or paperwork, billed to the patient at a set rate of $150. This will be completed within 14 days. Unfortunately, it cannot be determined before a full evaluation whether or not a patient will be deemed appropriate for a leave, disability, or any other accommodations.
For optimal mental health, we wholeheartedly believe in:
While we encourage all of our patients to pursue therapy, we aim to provide very affordable care and therefore keep our costs to patients low by only focusing on the psychiatric medication management piece. We will work very closely with your therapist to have a collaborative team in place to take care of you.
Low dose benzodiazepines may be prescribed for intermittent use (such as for panic attacks). We do not prescribe benzodiazepines for everyday use. This is because daily benzodiazepine use puts patients at risk for withdrawal were they to skip a dosage. Withdrawal puts patients at risk of elevated blood pressure, seizures and/or death. If you need daily benzodiazepine treatment, please reach out to a local psychiatric provider where your blood pressure and medical health can be monitored in person.
If you require daily benzodiazepine prescribing and still proceed with booking, prescribing is at the full discretion of the provider.
Your provider will send your medication electronically to the pharmacy you placed on file, the same day as your appointment. After your appointment, call your pharmacy to verify that they received the prescription, and you should be able to obtain your medication within 24 hours. Please notify your provider, if the medication was not filled.
